Police confirms over 900 cadet officers

KAMPALA – The Uganda Police Force on Wednesday 19 confirmed 985 cadet officers into service to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police.

Police revealed that more cadet officers to be confirmed in the second phase.

“We congratulate all the officers who have been confirmed upon achieving this milestone. We also encourage them to continue exhibiting this spirit of national service and discipline in all their assignments,” said police in a statement.

Police also applauded the public for mutual cooperation with them. “We pledge that the officers who have been confirmed will continue to exhibit the same level of professionalism, or even better.”
