KAMPALA – Residents with early morning church programmes in Kampala were on Sunday greeted with a heavy morning to downpour that resulted into floods that cut off most of the areas.

Not a new occurrence for Kampala and it’s suburbs, the Sunday May 26 floods as usual cut off the areas of Bwaise, Kawempe, Nabweru, Clock Tower near Queen’s Way, Kyambogo and Jinja Rd, among others.

Other city suburbs such as Kasubi, Katanga, Kisenyi, Nalukolongo, Kabuusu, Katwe, Namungoona, and Kinawataka among others are some of the areas that experienced flooding.

Some previous floods have left dozens dead.
