KAMPALA – Parliament has confirmed that former Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) and Ayivu County Member of Parliament Dick Nyai has passed on.
Hon. Rebecca Kadaga during plenary confirmed according to a tweet from Parliament social media.
“The Speaker [Rebecca Kadaga] informs the House the former Member of Parliament, Dick Nyai has passed on,” Parliament twitted.
According to close relatives, Nyai, died on Wednesday afternoon after he was rushed to Arua Hospital on Tuesday evening.
Before the results of the tests came out, he breathed his last.
Burial arrangements are still underway.
