KAMPALA – Shortly after blocking his counterpart, Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake from travelling to India and confiscating his passport, police under the direction of CID Director Grace Akullo, had already stationed at Entebbe Airport by the time Bobi Wine arrived at the airport at around 8.30pm.
He was blocked from accessing the departure lounge of the airport and he and his relatives and friends who had accompanied him remained in the cars.
Then Bobi Wine’s lawyers, Akullo and airport management were engaged in a meeting before police emerged and ordered Bobi Wine’s family to drive back with the ailing MP in an ambulance under police escort.
The ambulance carrying Zaake was also ordered to drive back to Kampala.
They are currently on the way to Kampala and are expected at Mulago hospital.
