BUGIRI – Police and Military has in the wee hours of Wednesday morning sealed off and raided a hotel in Bugiri town -where Kyandondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is staying – arresting several members of his team
Reports reaching this website indicate that the combined force includes the Uganda Police and Military Police
“My Hotel in Bugiri is now surrounded by the military, many of my team members are arrested,” said Bobi Wine the Kyandondo East Legislator in a statement.
Our Hotel in Bugiri has been raided by the military and police. Several of my team members are arrested and more being forced to open their rooms.

The reasons for the arrests are yet to be established.
The legislator has for the past weeks camped in Bugiri to campaign for JEEMA’s Asuman Basalirwa ahead of the highly controversial Bugiri Municipality by-elections.
