Unknown assailants raided Loris Petrol Station in Bulenga, along Mityana road in the wee hours of Monday morning and killed two people.

Police have identified the deceased as Andrew Byonarebye, a pump attendant and Ibrahim Sengooba, a charcoal truck driver.

Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima said Byonarebye was first intoxicated with unknown substances and tied with ropes before being killed, while Sengooba died as a result of being hit by a sharp object on the head.

Kayima said the assailants sped off with unspecified amount of money.

He said police is on the look out for the assailants and they will soon be arrested and brought to book.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Mulago Mortuary for post-mortem.
