Musician Bobi Wine celebrates his victory.

Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine will be sworn in tomorrow as Kyanddondo East Member of Parliament. Bobi Wine will take oath inside the Parliament chambers at 2pm.

The musician turned politician will leave his home at 9am and use Gayaza road en route to Parliament according to his manager Selector Davi.

“He will be escorted by fans and supporters from Kyaddondo-East constituency, who will thereafter head to Saza Grounds in Kasangati where celebrations will be held,” Davi told PML Daily.

“Tomorrow, we celebrate #PeoplePower. Join me for the inauguration at Parliament at 2pm then later at Kasangati Saza grounds for general celebrations filled with music and fun. #CarryYourUgandaFlag,” Bobi Wine said on his Facebook page.

Bobi Wine woos crowds at one of his campaign rallies.

However, it is not yet clear whether self-acclaimed Ghetto President has sought the clearance of Police to hold a procession in his entourage to Parliament.
Bobi Wine won a resounding by-election vote on June 29, beating his main challenges, incumbent Apollo Kantinti (FDC) and Sitenda Sebalu (NRM) by more than 20,000 votes.
The singer-cum-politician joins a growing pattern of entertainers trading their ragtag garbs for the suave look of a political figureheads after the likes of Peter Ssematimba, Kato Lubwama, and Judith Babirye.
