KAMPALA – World Vision Uganda seeks to address the causes and effects of poverty through development, relief, and advocacy. Over 128,633 registered children benefit from World Vision Uganda’s work. World Vision Uganda is able to provide educational support, construct and equip schools and health centres, train health workers and farmers, participate in advocacy campaigns, distribute improved crop varieties and animal breeds, and provide clean and safe water.
World Vision Uganda started in 1986 to offer relief and resettlement packages and to help reconstruct districts in central Uganda ravaged by the 1981-1986 war. Development work was added on with the initiation of Community Development Projects (CDPs) in central, southern, western and West Nile regions between 1987 and 1995.
Projects based on grants were also started to cover different sectors including water and sanitation, HIV and AIDS, food security, feeder roads, psycho-social support and peace building. Expansion in geographical areas and in activities has been based on need.
World Vision Uganda operates in more than 50 districts, with 53 Area Development Programmes (ADPs).
World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
We are seeking to establish More Regional Offices and branches all over the 112 Districts in our Country Uganda.
Before the setup of Offices which will commence from April, we are looking for volunteers who will help us in data collection by filling questionnaires in every county per district across the country.

• Drivers and messengers(523)We are recruiting 40 people per constituency in every county based on first come first serve basis.
1) Must be 18 years and above
2) Be conversant with local dialect( English and local language)
3)Be able to read and write
4)Must have Ugandan ID Card
5)All education level shall be considered-employment for all is our slogan
Interested candidates are invited to make online Application on or before 23rd March, Training of shortlisted candidates will be from 25 to 29th March in all constituencies across the Country.
That applying must indicate their constituency and County on the application form.
Those who will be shortlisted for Jobs will be paid a daily stipend of UGX 110,000 and those in hardship areas will get 125,000 UGX per day for 40 days all paid every day in the evening. Lunch, t-shirts, and transport will be provided.
The first 35 applicants in every constituency will be Contacted before training date via SMS.
