Will you compile a list this year? Chameleone mocks Bebe Cool over his annual lists

KAMPALA – It has always been a norm at every beginning of the year for Gagamel International C.E.O Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool to release his annual list naming top artists that he thinks have performed musically remarkably well in a particular year.

Many artists have always snubbed his list and maintained that Bebe Cool has no moral authority to start grading and critiquing them.

On his 2019 list which saw him in a bitter exchange with fellow artist King Saha, Bebe ranked himself number five and snubbed Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine respectively.

In an interview on an entertainment show with a local TV station, Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone chided Bebe Cool saying that his annual lists are useless and always fears to include him (Chameleone) because he (Bebe) knows that he (Chameleone) is way bigger than him.

The 2021 Kampala Lord Mayor hopeful further questioned if next year Bebe will again compile the list and where he will rank himself.

“Bebe Cool used to compile an annual list of music performers, but the question is; will he do the same this year and if so, where will he rank himself,” Chameleone rhetorically asked.

Chameleone also weighed in on the renewed beef between Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine. The ‘Valu Valu’ singer said that Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool are mature enough to understand that having beef at this point is useless.

Chameleon stated that the two should focus on better things than just beef, stressing how they should understand the fact they have grown out of the stage where they should beef publicly.
“I personally think there is more to life than just beef. We honestly have a lot to do. Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool should understand that a number of artists look up to them and therefore should get over their beef and misunderstandings. I would love to see them work together as one not as enemies,” he said.

Chameleone added that apparently the two have neglected their music careers and focused on beef that will not benefit them in any way. He however noted that they are mature people and therefore know what to do.
