KAMPALA – Comedian Alex Muhangi of Comedy Store has come out to refute allegations that he is bitter with fellow artiste Salvador real name Patrick Idringi.
This comes shortly after Salvador initiated a weekly comedy night dubbed ‘Just Comedy’ that happens every Wednesday at Kingdom Kampala.
Many took this as being rival to Muhangi’s Comedy Store that has been running for about 3 years now.
However, Muhangi has come out to dismiss the allegations, saying that he (Salvador) even consulted from him.
“We are friends. He actually consulted me on what he should do to have a successful show. There is nothing like beef. Every one of us is working hard to take the Comedy industry a notch higher,” Alex Muhangi said during an interview.
It should be remembered that Ugandan artistes have made it a tendance to go rival as a way to promote their businesses.
