KAMPALA – Uganda’s music industry has been churning out formidable artists on a regular basis.

2018 saw the rise of a baritone-voiced dancehall star known as John Kasadha who is popularly known as John Blaq.

The artist has gained overnight celebrity success in his budding music career. With his deeply voiced lyrics dominating the airwaves in recent times.

He shot to stardom barely months ago and has firmly held his place in the limelight with serial club bangers that are mostly produced by Daddy Andre.

John Blaq’s unique sound blares through speakers and woofers in many homesteads and happening places.

Some of his trademark hits include; “Romantic”, “Tukwatagane”, “Obubadi”, ” Makanika”,” Do dat”, “Mama Bulamu” among others.

Known for his uniqueness and leaching voice that has created a new genre of music that is out of the blue and new jagorns such as “Ayabass” that has been adopted as part of the local dialect.

The self-proclaimed African boy has worked with other Ugandan artists on massive tunes like Sheebah Karungi, Grenade Official, Daddy Andre among others.

His maiden show will take place on November 29, at Freedom City Namasuba along Entebbe road on November 30, at Transafrica Jinja and Agip Motel in Mbarara.

As a very promising fresh talent in the entertainment industry, we can only wish John Blaq a fabulous debut concert to ignite his career.
