KAMPALA – It is barely four months to the end of the year, and that means there are a series of events lined up in action.

This weekend is one of them with a roller coaster of fun-filled events that you ought not to miss. PML Daily’s Abraham MUTALYEBWA has got you sorted.

  1. All-Stars Swangz Avenue party

The much anticipated Swangz Avenue All-Star party is happening this Friday, August 23, at Cricket Oval Lugogo.

Jamaican sensational artists Chris Martins and D-major are the main acts of the night. It will feature Uganda’s crème de la crème like Vinka, Nina Roz, John Blaq, Beenie Gunter among others.

Entrance is UGX 30,000 ordinary and UGX 100,000 VIP.

  1. Uganda Motor Club Fort portal Challenge Rally Launch 2019

For the rally lovers your night is here this Friday, August 23, at racers bar and restaurant in Kisaasi Rd on Kirabo complex. Let us be there for mixing and mingling.

  1. “Breakthrough” Power FM Movie Night

Happening this Friday is the Power FM movie Night “Break Through” at Watoto Down opposite Equatoria Hotel in Kampala. Entrance is absolutely free for everyone. Gates open at 6:00pm.

  1. Silent Disco Campus Rave at Valhalla

The Campus Rave edition for Silent Disco is on this Friday, August 23 at Vallhalla Bar and Restaurant on Plot 44, Lumumba Avenue.  There will be nine DJ’s spinning the wheels and three channels at only UGX 10,000.

  1. Best of King Micheal at freedom city

Uganda’s Dance Hall king also known as King Michael’s concert is this Saturday, August 23, at Freedom City along Entebbe Road. It will be a comeback show after some good time of disappearing from the scene.

There will be other artists such as Bebe cool, Apass, Chameloene, Gravity Omutujju, Weasel among others, performing too.

Entrance is UGX 10,000 for ordinary and UGX for VIP.

  1. Zina Sosh at UMA Show Grounds

The Zina Sosh organised by Galaxy FM is on this Saturday at UMA Grounds Lugogo. The Fresh edition has many artists lined up and they include John Blaq, Spice Diana, Lydia Jasmine, Fefe Busi, Grenade Official, Racho Rey, Daddy Andre, Fresh Kid to mention but a few.

Gates open as early as 10:00 am and the cover charge is UGX 5,000.

  1. Twins Festival 2019 at Namboole

The twins festival is back this Sunday, August 25. Thousand of twins are expected to flock Namboole stadium to celebrate the other twins from all over the country. The event is organised by Vision Group. Expect singing and dancing competitions coupled with entertainment from various artists.

Entrance is only UGX 10,000.

  1. Rotary Cancer Run 2019

The 8th Edition of the Rotary Cancer Run is happening this Sunday at Kololo Independence Grounds and in all major towns across the country.

The proceeds will go towards procuring of bunkers that treat cancer. Kits go for UGX25,000.

  1. Unplugged Concert at Eliana Hotel Ntinda

The Unplugged Concert featuring Jonah Kalungi and Wilber Kasaale is on this Sunday at Eliana Hotel, Ntinda.

Entrance is absolutely free and gates open at 5:00pm

  1. Blankets and Wines featuring Skales

For Slayers and Kings, the much-anticipated socialite party is on this Sunday, August 25 at the Cricket Oval and it will be headlined by Skales from Nigeria among other artists such as  Herbert Ssessamba,  Moroots, Kent & Flosso among others while DJ Ciza will be on the decks.
