Singer Rema Namakula may wear a constant smile, but the Whisper singer still feels the emptiness of growing up without a father.
As others in Uganda celebrated their fathers on June 17th, which was the third Sunday of June, Rema posted something that gave away her pain.
“Lost my dad when I was one year old, honestly I don’t know how it feels to have a father but when I see how my gals treasure their father…it’s unbelievably amazing. So Happy Father’s Day to all the papas who make their babies feel loved and protected,” Namakula wrote.
In a past interview, Namakula said her husband Edirisa Musuuza, popularly known as Eddy Kenzo is a wonderful father and their young daughter is so fond of him.
Having lost her father at just the age of one, the ‘Whistle’ hit maker has spoken out about how adorable it is for children to be nurtured up to adults with an amazing hand of the male parents who seem to show endless love and care to their children as a way of enlightening their future.
