Hellen Lukoma is set to appear in a brand new local television series Mpeke Town which is to show at 8pm on Bukedde TV and Urban TV every Saturday at 1pm.
The slender sexy singer, model and actress who terms herself as being multi-talented took up the lead role of Mercy in Mpeke Town series. Mercy in this series is a very ambitious and determined girl. She will be acting alongside Nakamanya Patience,Richard Tuwangye,Isaac Muwawu, Veronica Namanda, Kujju Isaac among others.
Phillip Luswata a veteran Ugandan actor is the script writer and chief editor of Mpeke Town. These series was produced by David Campbell.
Lukoma wrote on her instagram saying,
‘’Good morning world meet mercy finally on yr screens tonight new series; Mpeke Town showing; Bukedde tv 8pm today …..Urban tv 1pm on Saturday .character; Mercy yes my lovely team HL people been shooting for a while now trust me you will love Mpeke town LUKOMA; MULTI- TALENTED’’
She rose to fame as a member of a girls music group the Obsessions, She later broke away to form the HB Toxic together with Brenda Nambi.
HB toxic did not last long as the friends decided to part ways. Brenda joined the fashion industry actively and Hellen ventured into acting, modeling and dancing.
She was born in 1990 in a family of six in which she is the last born, she attended Shimon Primary School, Lubiri Senior Secondary School and later joined Makerere Business School from where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business
