KAMPALA – Award winning Uganda’s young dancing group Triplets Ghetto Kids have now fully owned their Makindye – Boston mansion and are now landlords.

This development was revealed by one of the pioneer members of the dancing group, Patricia Nabakooza in an interview with one of the local TV stations.

Patricia explained that they successfully completed the overwhelming debt of their residential home in Makindye after the Parliament of Uganda led by Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, friends and well-wishers’ contributions that helped them offset the debt that nearly led to their eviction.

“It’s good news that we now own the house. The entire dance group is sound and secure now. We would like to thank the members of parliament led by Hon. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, friends, and fans for the contributions to secure our home,” she said.

It ought to be remembered that in 209, the young dance group which has been nominated in the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2021 in the ‘Favorite African Social Media Star’ led by their manager Dauda Kavuma (Teacher) revealed that they were about to be evicted after failing to pay a balance of Ugx 112 million shillings to the house owner.

Kavuma further revealed that in 2018 as they made an initial move to purchase the house, American rapper American rapper; French Montana sent them over Ugx. 70Million and they deposited Ugx. 180Million for the house with hope of completing the balance in due course.

Their plans however failed to work out when they failed to meet the deadline of completing the debt which prompted the house owner to start the process of throwing them out.

With the grace period that the house owner had extended to the dancing group, their manager started making financial pleas to the public and government which ended up successful.
