KAMPALA – Socialite Bad Black real nameShanitah Namuyimbwa believes she is a “legendary celebrity” in the Ugandan entertainment spheres and is currently greater than all the surviving musicians in the country today.

While appearing on an entertainment show as a panelist over the weekend, the top socialite and social media influencer Bad Black revealed that she is a legendary celebrity and no one can tell her otherwise.

In her argument, Bad Black noted that celebrities from abroad are very different from those in Africa. She noted that in Uganda particularly, once one gets attention on social media, people mistake them for celebrities which to her is wrong.

“I believe I am the right description of a celebrity. I came into the limelight in 2009 and I became a hot topic. But Ugandans always destroy the culture. Even if you undressed and bathed at the taxi park, they would regard you a celebrity,” she explained

Black also explained how she is greater than all currently trending artists locally and explained how all the people that attack her are always aiming at achieving celebrity status.

The Self-made Queen of Snap chat also claimed how she has all it takes to dominate the news cycle in Uganda with trending stories for a full week and hence her relevance and fame deserve the celebrity status.

‘Mama Jona’ has previously been in the news for her bleaching woes after several years of enjoying her transformed beauty.

The former socialite through her snap chat account said that she has learnt through a painful experience she is enduring that tampering with her skin wasn’t worth it.

“Every painful experience gives you a lesson but not everybody learns. Only wise people learn and change for the better with that experience,” he shared.

Bad Black was one of the first Ugandan public figures who came out and admitted to bleaching back in the day but it seems karma has caught up with her.

For those who saw her before she defrauded huge chunks of money from her white pensioner can attest to her skin transformation. Everything changed when she flew to Dubai where she spent some good time working on her skin.

A fortnight ago, ‘Mama Jonah’ revealed how she was currently living in pain as her skin turned from brown to red, and very susceptible to all kinds of skin problems.

She later shared a photo of her bruised eye, a side effect she obtained from bleaching.

“Pain, I have bleached too much, my face is turning red, no filters. I hope you are going to feel pity for me,” Bad Black captioned the photo.
