KAMPALA —School children around town are ecstatic about the StarTimes Kampala Kids Run scheduled to happen on 8th December 2019 at the Uganda Museum.

The theme at this 6th edition is “Safe drinking water in primary schools”.

The Kids Run which has the 1.5km and 3km race will start at 6am, after which, kids will enjoy bouncing castles, face painting, PlayStation videogames, and more! Plus performances by Fresh Kid, Tripple S, The Challenger, among others.

The StarTimes Kampala Kids Run is an annual CSR event that aims at helping a targeted population within society, particularly the less privileged children in rural areas.

For a child to participate in this cause, all he or she needs to do is buy a kit at only UGX 20,000. There are also parent kits available at the same price. All proceeds from the event will go to ensuring that there is safe drinking water for the children in rural schools.

Kits are available at: StarTimes outlets, Capital Shoppers Ntinda, The Food Hub, Uganda Museum, and Mystery Lane at Acacia Mall. This noble event is sponsored by StarTimes, Riham, The Food Hub, CityOil, Ruparelia Foundation, and UMC Hospitals.
