Rema Namakula’s new lover Hamza Sebunya has pledged a bigger function come November after splashing over UGX30 million on the ‘kukyala’ function on Wednesday.
Pictures of Sebunya’s visit to his in-laws took social media by storm on Independence Day, with several people shocked at the pomp and luxury exhibited at the function.
Speaking at the event, Sebunya assured family and friends present that whatever happened was just a sample of the bigger things that are yet to come.
“I am sure that all you wherever you will go, you will appreciate what we have done today. But this is just a sample. We were just testing the microphone, but on November 14, it will be bigger and better,” Sebunya said.
Sources close to the family said Sebunya spent over UGX30 million on the function such as buying over 25 sacks of rice, 25 sacks of sugar and 60 crates of soda on top of other gifts of clothes and other items to her in-laws.
“Bless our marriage and let it be a means for us to become closer to you in love and devotion. Allah, let our marriage be a way for us and our families to enter Jannah. Allah, protect our marriage from the whispering of Shaytaan. Give us the strength to live together in justice, equity, love and mercy. Let our marriage bring untold blessings to us individually, to our families and our children. Bless us with children who will be a source of great joy and happiness,” he wrote on his Facebook wall.
The introduction ceremony is scheduled for November 14.
