Ugandans to celebrate 56 years of independence in series of events

KAMPALA- As Uganda Marks 56 years of independence on Tuesday, October 9 in Kyotera district, there are series of events lined up.

Independence night at Namboole stadium on Friday, October 5, 2018, organised by House of prayer Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of Salt Media.

Believers are expected to flock the stadium as early as 6 am on Friday until Saturday morning thanking God for the great things he has done and praying for our country Uganda.

On October 8 we shall have three major shows for the party lovers and this will weigh the strength of the organizers

Comedian Patrick Idringi, aka Salvado will be entertaining lovers at the fourth edition of Africa Laughs scheduled to take place at Serena Hotel, Kampala.

This will be a cocktail of comedians both, local and international.

They will include :Daniel Omara, Prince Ehma, Ronnie Mc Vex, Agnes Akite and Madrat and Chiko for international acts we shall have, Prof Hamo (Kenya), Kevin J (UK), Basketmouth ( Nigeria), Eddie Kadi (Congo), Alfred Kainga (Zimbabwe) and Arthur Nkusi ( Rwanda). The show will have some surprise artists to grace the event.

For those who enjoy dancing and Dj mixes should brace themselves for the Major Lazer show at Sheraton Hotel come 8th Monday 2018.

Kenneth Mugabi Uganda’s humorous poetic artist will treat his fans to Afro-soul Music. Mugabi came to the music scene after his great album of “Kibunomu” a very soulful song with a perfect touch of vocals and guitar.

Mugabi has songs like Katambala, Nambi, Nkwegomba Olugendo featuring  Irene  Namubiru and many others. He will be performing live at National theatre on October 8.
