ENTEBBE -The key suspect in Moses Sekibogo alias Mowzey Radio’s death has been committed to the High Court for trial.
Godfrey Wamala aka Troy has been committed by the Entebbe Chief Magistrate court after court heard that investigations in the case are complete.
State Attorney Julius Muhiirwe has informed Chief Magistrate Susan Okeni that investigations into Troy’s case are complete, and that he had instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to send him to High court for trial.
According to the evidence DPP intends to present against Troy Wamala shows that on the fateful date the accused was seen with the deceased at the De bar drinking, before a scuffle between the two.
DPP says in addition to the overwhelming evidence placing Troy at the scene of crime , he also intends to use exhibits such as Telephone Print-outs of calls made before, during and after Radio’s death, plus a sketch plan of De bar where the fight took place on January 22, 2018.
Prosecution alleges that on January 22 while at De Bar in Entebbe, the accused beat up Mowzey and pushed him to the ground.
Mowzey succumbed to head injuries at Case Hospital on February 1 following a bar brawl at De Bar, a popular hangout in Entebbe town on January 22.
