KAMPALA–Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court has directed the Police to arrest Moses Sekibogo alias Radio and Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel over skipping bail.

The two singers were expected to appear in court Monday, having secured bail last year but were not anywhere in sight.

This prompted the court to order their arrest.

The court had earlier issued for the arrest of the duo following the skipping of two straight sessions in which they are accused of defaming their former boss, Jeff Kiwanuka, alias Jeff Kiwa.

However, the ‘juice juice’ hit makers somehow managed to secure bail before they were arrested. One of the bail conditions was, they were supposed to show up in court today for the hearing of their case.

Radio and Weasel woes began last year when they were taken to court by Jeff Kiwa, accusing them of defamation.

He says that in a video clip shared on Facebook, the duo alleged that they had warned him to quit witchcraft but he did not take heed of their advice.

“It’s now time to deal with your troubles as we all have our issues to deal with.” Radio added; “You sacrificed people, you have human heads and now you want to link these things to us.”

Through his lawyers of Muwema and Co. Advocates and Solicitors, Jeff Kiwa had demanded that the duo pull down a video and issue an apology by Monday, 20 June 2016,on top of paying him Shs1bn, which the musicians refused to comply with thus the suit.
