First things first: we also don’t know exactly what we mean in that headline but you can help decipher something—if you can—from the accompanying photo (above). And just in case you wanted to ask us we are not sure this is a case of ‘man eats where he works.’

However what we are doubly sure of is that society journalist Moses Opobo is enjoying his time in self-imposed exile in Rwanda. This weekend, Opobo apparently visited Musanze District, far-flung in northern Rwanda and renowned for farming activities and being birthplace of Rwanda’s even more peculiar ‘Wooden Bike’.

Opobo and his mystery half are seen posing in romantic bliss with a wooden bike deep inside a vegetable farm. Opobo, who doubles as an upcoming singer in Kigali, is seen ‘proposing’ to the mystery lady with a ripe Thai round eggplants (garden eggs) locally known as entuula.

The journalist posted the photo on his Facebook page, leaving some wondering why he was proposing using a ripe fruit instead of a flower. “Flowers are un-African, that’s a ripe ‘entonyi,’” he replied.

The pair cut the image of a ‘dipo nazigala’ couple. Meanwhile, we are out to find out which movie Opobo was shooting or if that is how he interacts with his sources while in the field doing journalism.
