Having sex is one of the physiological needs of human being. It has a lot of benefits both physical and psychological. But there’s one question that comes back frequently which is on the frequency of sex one should have in a week. To discover it keep reading…

When to have sex?

In the morning. It is the moment of the day when the body is more relaxed. Morning sex helps to start the day with a flood of feel-good hormones and healthy-looking afterglow.

In the afternoon. It’s a good option if you know you’re going to be spent by the end of the day.

In the night. Sex at the end of the day will give you something to look forward to at the end of a hard day, which will make you excited to see your partner.

The 14th day of the cycle. This is right around the time that ovulation occurs and the period when orgasm may be easier to come by.

After a bad day. Sex may be a better choice to shake off the stress of a tough day at the office.

How many times to have sex in a week?

How often you should have sex depends on your own personal preference as a couple.  But if forced to generalise about how often the ‘average’ couple have sex, once a week is probably the best estimate you’re going to get. That statistic depends slightly on ages between 40 and 50. Age can increase or decrease the frequency of sex, and that is largely based on whether sex hormone levels are high or low.

However, couples shouldn’t rely on the average as a metric for their own sex lives. Like we saw it in the above lines, you can have sex at any time of the day, like hottest porn stars. It depends on when the desire arose. One may feel having sex twice in a week and another more than trice. So there is no recommended amount of times.

Usually as many as one is able to have sex is the amount of times you should. It is adviced to have sex as much as the desire arose but in one accord with your partner. You should be sexual as often as both you and your partner feel good … If you can say it was satisfying and fulfilling, that’s how often you should be sexual.

What are the benoits of having sex regularly?

There are both physical and psychological benefits to having regular sex. Having sex regularly, can help to sleep well. Sleep disorder can be improved but having sex regularly.

It has also cardiovascular benefits. Good sex life is good for the heart. Just like an intense workout, being sexually aroused increases heart rate, with the number of beats per minute peaking during orgasm.

Regular sex releaves stress. A study published in Biological Psychology found that people who have regular sex had lower stress-related blood pressure than individuals who had masturbated or had non-coital sex.
