KAMPALA, Uganda (PML DAILY) — RAK Engineering Limited, a leading Ugandan engineering firm, launched its new state-of-the-art office in Kawempe, marking a significant milestone in its 14-year journey.
The new office is expected to create new job opportunities, with the company planning to increase its workforce. Rogers Kamuhanda, managing director of RAK Engineering Ltd., said the company aims to create more employment opportunities for Ugandans.
“We hope to start many new subsidiaries of RAK Engineering that will create more employment opportunities,” Kamuhanda said. “We are committed to providing employment to the people of Uganda.”
Kamuhanda highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects. “We have delivered numerous high-impact projects in Uganda, including infrastructure support for telecommunications expansion and key construction collaborations,” he said.
Gerald Isabirye, an engineer who attended the launch, praised Kamuhanda’s leadership and vision. “I am happy this company has grown from scratch to become one of the leading engineering companies in the country,” Isabirye said.
Isabirye added that RAK Engineering Limited’s growth was a testament to the company’s hard work and dedication. “It’s a great achievement for the company, and I’m confident they will continue to thrive and create more opportunities for Ugandans,” he said.
RAK Engineering Limited was founded in 2010 and has established itself as a leading player in Uganda’s engineering sector. The company provides telecommunications and networking services, including base station construction, site and wayleave acquisition, fiber optic network deployment, and telecoms equipment installation.
In the power sector, RAK Engineering Limited offers construction of high-voltage power structures, substations, and power transmission lines, as well as repair works. The company has built distribution and low-voltage transmission lines, including projects that are overhead, underground, and straight through town.
