KAMPALA, Uganda (Nov. 6, 2024) — dfcu Bank has been awarded Gold in the Distribution category at the prestigious Qorus Reinvention Awards MEA 2024 in Dubai for its Investment Club App. The app, which supports Uganda’s growing network of investment and savings clubs, stood out among nearly 700 global entries for its innovative approach to digital finance.
The Investment Club App has become a key tool for over 135,000 investment clubs in Uganda, allowing users to manage contributions, loans, collections, and returns in real-time. With over 10,000 downloads since its launch, the app reflects dfcu Bank’s commitment to promoting financial inclusion and literacy across the country.
