KAMPALA — MultiChoice Uganda has announced an upgrade offer for their DStv and GOtv customers.

The announcement was made at MultiChoice Uganda offices.
The new MultiChoice Uganda upgrade campaign on the DStv and GOtv platforms will give customers an opportunity to access a higher bouquet within 48 hours from the time their last active subscription once the payment is made.

Joan Semanda Kizza, the PR and Communications Manager for MultiChoice Uganda said that MultiChoice is cognizant of the need to make great entertainment more accessible to customers every time-all the time.

She revealed that, “We are aware of the current times and the need for our customers to get value beyond what they pay for as they seek for entertaining, enjoyable and educative content from the local, regional and international scene, designed to enhance their viewing experience.”

She explained that, “If a DStv customer is on DStv Access (bouquet price UGX 35,000) but pays for DStv Family (bouquet price UGX 52,000) subscription, they will be upgraded to DStv Compact (bouquet price UGX 84,000) for a period of 30 days.

For customers on the GOtv platform, customers will all be able to upgrade to the GOtv Max bouquet for the discounted price of UGX 34,000 compared to the usual UGX 40,000. The offer is eligible to disconnected, new GOtv Plus, Value, and Lite customers.”

Colin Asiimwe the Head of Marketing for MultiChoice Uganda, said that, “The Step-Up promotion will give our customers a new experience with their TV, a key element of our service which aligns with our brand positioning of offering great home entertainment.”

“We cannot thank our customers enough for their continued support over the years. This promotion also comes as a token of gratitude from us to our valued DStv and GOtv customers. It is also a reassurance of our commitment to continually deliver the best video entertainment experience in the country,” Asiimwe noted.

The new Step-Up campaign will run from 19th January 2021 until 31 March 2021. Once the customer pays the amount as stipulated by MultiChoice Uganda, they will be upgraded to a higher package.
