KAMPALA – Following the announcement of promotional fares on Friday, August 2, all seems to be set for the national air carrier to hit the skies at the end of August 2019.

A  ticketing office has been set up along Jinja road on the same building which houses Victoria University in Kampala.

This will enable the customers to book their flights easily and get information regarding their flights and payments.

According to the Chairman Board of Directors Uganda Airlines, Godfrey Pereza Ahabwe the promotional fares will run for two months and more aircraft will be brought in September 2019 to enable the carrier spread its footprint to other destinations.

He revealed that fares set were made after consulting extensively and they are arguably the lowest and most affordable rates compared to the rest.

He said Ugandans should wait anxiously for the exceptional service filled with professionalism since his team is ready to deliver the best.

In addition, the rates are for return tickets and they are tax inclusive. These include; Nairobi USD 278, Juba USD 225,  Mogadishu USD 590,  Dar -es salaam USD 256, Bujumbura USD 292, Mombasa  USD 325  and Kilimanjaro  USD 311.
