KAMPALA – The Buy Uganda Build Uganda (BUBU) Expo that is organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives and the Investment Review Publications (IRP) will take place on March 7 to 9 at Kololo Airstrip.

The annual 3-day event aims at promoting BUBU by promoting local content,  encouraging and building patriotism in the general public, enhancing networking and coordination around the BUBU policy.

According to Mr. Julius Agaba: “BUBU is meant to bring domestic investors to the front and centre of the economy.”

The event will encourage foreign and local investors to produce locally made goods, enhance the quality and competitiveness on the local and international market, create jobs and drive the country to achieve the middle-income status.

Mr. Paul Nyakana Businge, the IRC managing director 1invites all traders to the event.

In a YouTube video promoting the event, Mr. Businge said that the event is meant to promote goods made locally in Uganda.
