After two seasons at Ethiopian side-Ethiopian Coffee, Ugandan midfielder Kirizestom Ntambi has decided to move on.
Ntambi a former SC Villa player joined Ethiopian Coffee from Jima Aba Buna, another side featuring in the Ethiopian top tier.
Currently in Abu Dhabi with the Uganda Cranes team that is preparing to take part in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Ntambi sent an emotional massage confirming his departure.
“My time at Ethiopia Coffee was good, read the message.
“Thank you for everything! I ended my relationship with Ethiopia Coffee today. God protect Ethiopia Coffee.
Ntambi has played for four clubs out side of his home country (Uganda).
His first professional stint was at Vietnamese side Navibank Saigon before making a brief return to Uganda.
His next stop saw him land a deal at South African outfit Vasco Da Gama where he stayed for only a year before joining Jima Aba Buna in September 2016.
Since then, he has featured in Ethiopia playing for two side. He leaves Ethiopian Coffee four games before the season ends.
A host of clubs around Ethiopia are rumored to be in talks with Ntambi. It is also understood that Kenya’s Tusker FC would love to sign the versatile midfielder.
Ntambi has come out and suggested that his next move will be announced after AFCON 2019, which will end on 19th July.
