Famous singer and songwriter Don Moen is expected to hold a concert in Kampala in February.
According to a story by Uganda Christian News, a church-run news website, Moen will be the headline performer at the Kampala Praise Festival – 2019 Edition, slated for Friday, February 8, at Kololo Airstrip.
R-Consult, an East African 360 Creative, production, marketing, events management and consulting company the organisers of the event also that Meon will be Uganda for two days before going to Rwanda on February 10.
The 68-year-old is popular for songs like God Will Make a Way, Thank you Lord, How great is our God, God is Good, Here We Are, Arise, I Will Sing, and many more that move believers globally.
In a video clip to confirm of his upcoming concert, Don Moen said: “I am excited to announce that this February I will be coming back to Uganda for the Kampala Praise Fest. I look forward to seeing you there.”
Moen was in Uganda in 2014 for a series of worship concerts.
He performed live at Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall and many state officials turned up including First Lady, Janet Kataha Museveni.
The famous singer also later preceded to Makerere University Sports Grounds for another show, alongside fellow musician, Lenny Le Blanc.
Moen’s East African tour in Uganda climaxed at the Rubaga Miracle Centre for a worship seminar which went for Shs30,000.
