Another MP in a road accident

IDOBO: Barely a week after MP Guttmoi’s accident, the Northern Youth Hon. Oscar Otema was this afternoon involved in a head-on collision accident in Omoro District along Kampala -Gulu highway.

The legislator was Kampala -bound with his family members when his car registration number UAW, 260Q collided with double cabin – attached to Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) – vehicle registration no. UAR 436Y.

Hon. Omony, his wife Denise Atimango, driver Christopher Okot, daughter and house help were rushed Gulu Independent Hospital in District.

In a similar incident, Erute North MP, Charles Angiro Guttmoi was Wednesday morning involved in an accident near the Karuma Bridge as he drove from Lira to Kampala, when he rammed into a trailer and was critically injured.

Reports reaching this website from a close associate, Hon. Richard Todwong, Minister Without Portfolio, affirm that plans to airlift the legislator to Kampala are underway.
