KAMPALA – The Leone Island boss Jose Chameleon alias Joseph Mayanja has again responded to Ugandan Politician Mike Mukula.
Capt. Mukula recently advised the legendary singer against joining politics.
Chameleon a few months back came out and revealed that he’s joining politics. He has publically expressed interest in becoming Kampala’s next Lord Mayor in the forthcoming elections in 2021.
However Capt. Mukula posted on his twitter handle advising Chameleone not to join politics.
In his message, Mukula told Chameleone to go slow on politics saying it would ruin his entertainment career. Capt. Mukula said that basing on his experience, politics will erode Chameleone’s financial base and could ruin his entertainment career.
“My advice to my good friend chameleon is to go slow on politics; it will erode your financial base and could ruin your entertainment career. Don’t say I didn’t advise you, take or leave it experience has taught me,”Capt Mukula advised via twitter.
In response, Chameleon said he feared nothing but to continue with what he called ‘paving the way.’
“Thank you my great friend, “Great men pave way for greater men” now that they didn’t we shall pave our own way and for the greater men after us,” he replied.
Now Chameleone who is in Nairobi, has again responded to Mukula’s piece of advice assuring him that he is more organized, adding that he can’t venture into something unless he is sure.
“Mike Mukula, am more organized than you think, that’s why i prepared musicians like Weasle & the late Radio, King Saha, Pallaso, Melody among others, and i am going to do the same when it comes to my political journey,” Chameleon responded
Chameleon added saying that the reason as to why Ugandan politicians fail is because they don’t prepare enough.
