KAMPALA – East Africa Got Talent show has been launched at Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda.

The much-anticipated show will be done in 3 phases namely pre-auditions which will take place on May 19, at the Pearl of Africa Hotel in Uganda.

Successful contests from the pre-auditions will then head to Nairobi for theatre auditions.

All participants in the show will have to be residents or citizens of any of the four East African countries.

Ms. Ann Kansiime, Uganda’s biggest female comedian is excited to host the show where she will be ushering the next stars.

Ms. Kansiime said: “I’m privileged to be able to usher in new talent and the next stars. Our biggest opportunity is to be exposed beyond your circles.”

EAGot Talent is open to all performers of any age and any kind of talent like singers, dancers, magicians, comedians among others can enter the competitions.

Lillias Bode EAGot Talent producer said: “Talent has no boundaries. Anybody of any age and talent can enter and compete.”

“There is absolutely no doubt that the talent in East Africa is breathtaking and diversity of the East African culture.” She added.

The show will be one of the ways to break boundaries hence bringing the four countries together as we grow as the East African community.

Mr. Lee Ndayisaba said: “As we grow, we shall be growing with the region. We believe this is one way of doing away with boundaries.”

“We are bringing people together. We shall have four judges on the panel from each of the participating countries,” he added.
